LactoHeal® vaginal ovules - one product for both prevention and treatment. The ovules are designed to treat fungal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis. The product is enriched with prebiotics and probiotics to restore the vaginal microflora. When used prophylactically, it moisturises, restores the natural pH of the vagina, reduces itching and dryness.
- Contains shea butter oil for ideal moisturization.
- Lactic acid is the main substance that restores the acidic vaginal environment.
- Sandalwood essential oil soothes and moisturizes the mucous membranes, relieves irritation and itching, and has antibacterial properties.
- Lavender essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties and treats candidiasis.
- Does not smear, does not leak and therefore lasts longer (lipophilic ingredients).
DOSAGE: One ovule per day is recommended, in the evening before bedtime. Use for up to 7 days, until well-being improves, or as directed by your doctor. Stop use before the start of menstruation or as directed by your doctor.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STORAGE: Keep out of the reach and sight of children and at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not take by mouth. Store in the manufacturer's packaging to protect from moisture and light. Do not use the ovules if the packaging is damaged or if the expiry date indicated on the package insert and the carton has passed. The ovules are suitable for use until the last day of the month indicated.
WARNINGS: Do not use in combination with other ovules (e.g. contraceptive) or a condom.
Do not use during menstruation or in case of heavy vaginal discharge.
If you are pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, or if you are breast-feeding, consult your doctor who will decide if you can use LactoHeal® ovules. Ovules can only be used during pregnancy on the instructions of your doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended daily amount unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
Medical devices should not be thrown down the drain or disposed of with household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unwanted medical devices. These measures will help protect the environment.
MEDICAL DEVICE: LactoHeal® vaginal ovules are a medical device according to Council Directive 93/42/EEC.
Plant-derived saturated glycerides, lactic acid buffer (water, lactic acid, sodium hydroxide), shea oil, borage oil, probiotic lysate, sandalwood essential oil, lavender essential oil, beta-glucans, potassium sorbate.
Ovules do not contain hormones or antibiotics.
